When the national law firm Stephensons approached SKV, it already had a highly successful media operation that regularly achieved national and regional coverage. But Stephensons wanted more specialised supported.
It asked SKV to use search engine optimisation techniques to improve the ranking of key areas of its business – such as wills and probate and conveyancing – in organic Google searches.
SKV identified the most influential media in nine key sectors and, through monitoring media and social media for news and keeping abreast of issues in those priority sectors on a daily basis, we developed ideas for stories and features to pitch to them. SKV and Stephensons then worked together to develop the final copy – which took the form of topical comment or authored features and op-ed pieces – and asked media to include a link back to the relevant area on www.stephensons.co.uk in the articles they published on their websites.
SKV has secured a wide range of Stephensons branded coverage, much of which features valuable links, in both well-known consumer outlets and respected trade publications such as Moneysupermarket.com, Zoopla.co.uk, Information-age.com, TheHRDirector.com and Fleetnews.co.uk, to name but a few.
