Reputation Management

These days, online reputation management is as vital as offline as the first place people look up a company will be a search engine. SKV use state of the art reputation management techniques and technologies which enables us to monitor bad press including negative blog posts, harmful forum posts or discussion threads and respond in an appropriate fashion.   Our reputation management service can locate damaging online content, engage with its authors while simultaneously building up a positive reputation for your brand or company. Reputation can be tracked with detailed analytical reporting and our brand management team can deliver to exceptional standards with a guarantee of service.

Offline, in traditional print and broadcast media, we manage the reputations of our clients in many ways from building profiles to crisis management.  A clear understanding of our client’s objectives ensures that their reputations and brand values are carefully managed – even in challenging circumstances.

There are effective measures that can be taken where damaging content exists that harms reputation for whatever reason. These include:

  1. Early discovery of reputation management damage and appropriate action.
  2. Respond directly as an agent or employee of the company. For example: “I work at Company X and we have several clients happily using Product Y.”
  3. Empathise and seek to resolve the reputation management issue. For example: “We are sorry that you have had this issue and we will work with you to overcome the problem. Please give us some time to look into things.”
  4. Offer a refund if applicable or if the client is too disgruntled.
  5. Link to other positive client comments, case studies and positive reputation enhancing pages.
  6. Contact the publisher directly if applicable to overcome the reputation management issue.
