Education PR

SKV PR has drawn upon its range of on and offline PR skills to promote Liverpool Hope University nationally and internationally through such initiatives as the world’s first online open day through Second Life.

The ongoing campaign, focusing on courses, research and student successes, has resulted in global coverage. Positioning the university to attract both students and academics requires a focus on key messaging, strong media contacts and imaginative initiatives to position the university as a nurturing environment.

The Northern Leadership Academy, a collaboration between the Universities of Lancaster, Leeds and Newcastle funded by the Northwest Development Agency, used SKV for a media relations campaign which included an interview with the Financial Times and a major feature in the Telegraph.

SKV has also undertaken projects for the University of Salford and for Liverpool Vision launch of the city’s Knowledge Quarter.

We have an understanding of the strategic issues affecting higher education through MD Andrew Spinoza’s experience as the inaugural chair of the Alumni Board and Association of the University of Manchester, following the university’s merger in 2005 of the Victoria University of Manchester and the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.

Education institutions seeking strategic advice about raising the profile and reputation of their courses, initiatives and personnel, should call SKV on (0161) 838 7770.
